HistoryEdit

Early HistoryEdit

At some point, Merrigod Plateau became a territory of the Magic Kingdom Levianta and the town of Calgaround was founded at its foot. It was later used as a hideout by the criminal organization Apocalypse. Sometime after, the plateau became part of the Kingdom of Elphegort's territory.[1] After the death of Pale Noël, a tomb was constructed on its northern tip and the man was buried there.[2] At some point, Elphegort's royal family began using the plateau as a vacation spot during the summer, utilizing it for centuries.[3]

Lucifenia-Elphegort WarEdit

Sometime after, a fortress was constructed on the plateau. During the Lucifenia-Elphegort War in EC 500, King Thorny Elphen retreated to the fortress with the Elphegortean main army after being pushed back by Lucifenian forces.[4] Coordinating a counterattack with the Lucifenian Resistance, the Elphegortean army pushed an offensive;[5] once the enemy kingdom was defeated and their army surrendered, Thorny returned to the capital of Aceid.

Duel of Merrigod PlateauEdit

On January 26, EC 611, Julia Abelard took refuge in Pale Noël's tomb. On January 30, Elluka Clockworker and Gumillia confronted Julia at the tomb and engaged her in battle. Shortly after, Lemy Abelard joined the duel and the four fought for hours before Lemy was killed.[6] After Julia self-destructed her true body to finish off her enemies,[7] the newly formed Ma left the tomb.[8] Later that day, the World Police arrived and recovered Germaine Avadonia and the vessels of sin Julia had left from the tomb.[9]

World's EndEdit

In EC 998, Merrigod Plateau was completely decimated by Punishment. Following the end of the Third Period, the destruction site merged with the Hellish Yard along with the rest of the ground world.[10]
