Annlee Sweets[note 1] was a flower seller and former doctor of Asmodean in the Beelzenian Empire and one of Sateriasis Venomania's many victims. Born in EC 074, she eventually married the guard Witnis Truth before the two separated. In EC 136, after the death of Lolan Eve, Annlee encountered Duke Venomania. Enchanted by his gaze, she followed him back to his mansion and joined his harem in order to monitor the health of the other women in the basement.

Later on, I.R. had Annlee check all the women and she confirmed that Lukana, Mikulia and Maylis were all pregnant with Sateriasis' children.[1] When the disguised Karchess Crim successfully stabbed the Duke later that year, Annlee broke free of his spell and began to flee the mansion with the others.[2] She is possibly represented by the Vocaloid Sweet ANN.

Aprilis Beelzenia[]

Aprilis Beelzenia[note 2] was a princess of the Beelzenian Empire and the fourth child of Jupitaire Beelzenia. At some point, she was given jurisdiction over Retasan. She attended her brother Martius' and Yufina's wedding and was acquainted with the Marlon princess. In EC 132, riots broke out throughout the town and Aprilis was unable to suppress the fighting. After Elluka Clockworker helped put down the rebellion, Aprilis became indebted to the sorceress. When her brother Martius visited Beelzenia for his homecoming in EC 136, she followed Febria to the throne room and spoke to her newly arrived brother rather rudely.[3]

Later on, when Maylis went missing, Aprilis had Baron Tae Conchita and the Marlon Count Karchess Crim look into the matter, receiving a report from Tae that Duke Sateriasis Venomania was the most suspicious. In response, she ordered them not to act on their own. She later met with her other siblings to investigate into the disappearance. She was later shocked with Martius suddenly arrived, bringing Elluka Clockworker.[4] As the investigation went on, Aprilis and her siblings were slow to act against Sateriasis.[2] She, like most of her siblings, was obese.[3]

Assad (father)[]

Assadfather

The father of Rajih Assad. Living as a peasant farmer in Mystica, Asmodean, the man raised his son to work as a farmer as well. Due to his friendship with the local baker Turner, their children befriended each other and became close. His son would later help save Turner's daughter from the local Duke, Sateriasis Venomania.

Beelzenian Minister[]

MinisterBeelz

A minister of the Beelzenian Empire who served under Princess Maylis Beelzenia in the Imperial City. He was among the nobles she assigned to investigate the disappearances of missing women in EC 136. Unable to find any leads, he reported his failure to the princess when Baron Conchita entered with new information regarding the investigation.[5]

Claster Glassred[]

Claster Glassred[note 3] was a marquis of the Glassred Family in the Beelzenian Empire and the father of Gumina. Born into an aristocratic Elphe family, Claster's parents raised him to not expect to further his station in Asmodean as a result of his heritage.[6] Despite this, the Glassred family achieved further prosperity when Claster's sister married Duke Ilotte Venomania and bore his child, Sateriasis. Hoping to further cement the link between the two families, Claster and his wife betrothed their daughter Gumina to their nephew Sateriasis when the two were children.[1]

In December of EC 135, when the entire Venomania household was massacred, save for an amnesiac Sateriasis, Claster was put in charge of Asmodean until his nephew healed from his amnesia. As Sateriasis continued to live in seclusion in his mansion, the marquis visited and quarreled with him over his irresponsible behavior. Later the following year, Claster began investigating the disappearances of a handful of women in the Asmodean region. Meanwhile, he learned that Sateriasis had finally begun to leave the mansion and allow company into his home. Deciding that his nephew was finally healing, he resolved to visit him with his daughter Gumina in tow.

Arriving at the mansion, the marquis barged inside and greeted Sateriasis before settling down to talk. After giving a report on the missing women's cases, the conversation turned to Gumina and Sateriasis' memories. Learning that Sateriasis' memories hadn't fully returned yet, Claster resolved to have Gumina live with Sateriasis before the two managed to talk him out of it. They then agreed to have Gumina at least regularly meet with Sateriasis in hopes it would help trigger his lost memories.

With that, Claster took his leave and returned to governing Asmodean. He also made arrangements for Gumina to meet with Sateriasis under the supervision of her servant, Carol Shields. In March, he left his home for a time and returned to discover both Carol and his daughter missing, and the rest of his household slaughtered.[6] Claster went mad as a result, and governance of Asmodean was reassigned to Sateriasis.[3] After Duke Venomania was killed and Gumina freed from his control, they suffered persecution for Gumina's connection to the Duke and fled to the neighboring Elphegort with Carol.[1]

Conchita (daughter)[]

The daughter of Maylis Beelzenia and Sateriasis Venomania. Conceived by Sateriasis' rape of Maylis, the Beelzenian Imperial Family demanded that she abort the baby but Maylis gave birth to her child anyway. As the family nonetheless refused to accept the bastard child of Sateriasis Venomania, the baby was given to Baron Tae Conchita and his wife, who were themselves unable to have children. The girl was an ancestor of Banica Conchita.[1]

Conchita (wife)[]

The wife of Tae Conchita and the adoptive mother of Maylis Beelzenia's daughter. Sometime during her life, she met and married the Baron, but they were unable to have children. When the imperial family refused to accept the bastard child of Sateriasis Venomania, the baby was given to her and her husband by Maylis.[1] She was described as a graceful and gentle-mannered woman.[4]

Febria Beelzenia[]

Febria Beelzenia[note 4] was a princess of the Beelzenian Empire and the second child of Jupitaire Beelzenia, his eldest daughter. She attended her brother Martius' and Yufina's wedding and was acquainted with the Marlon princess. When her Martius visited Beelzenia for his homecoming in 136 EC, Febria led her two sisters to the throne room to greet him.[3]

Later on, when Maylis went missing, Febria met with her other siblings to investigate into the disappearance, becoming hysterical. She was later shocked with Martius suddenly arrived, bringing Elluka Clockworker.[4] As the investigation went on, Febria and her siblings were slow to act against Sateriasis.[2] She, like most of her siblings, was obese.[3]

Ferdinand (uncle)[]

Ferdinand

A marquis of Asmodean in the Beelzenian Empire. Born during the turn of the second century EC, he eventually married and became head of the Ferdinand Family, managing the town of Mystica from his nearby manor as the Marquis. In EC 126, Elluka Clockworker was planned to visit him and the marquis welcomed her as his guest to Mystica.[7]

After meeting Princess Maylis Beelzenia, Marquis Ferdinand became obsessed with the beautiful young woman, stealing various personal items of hers whenever he met with the princess and hiding them in a secret room within the mansion. In March of EC 136, Maylis requested he replace Marquis Glassred in investigating the mysterious disappearances occurring all-year and he abided, devoting himself to finding the cause behind the women going missing.

In April, Duke Sateriasis Venomania visited Marquis Ferdinand and slaughtered him along with the rest of his family and staff shortly after. Afterward, Venomania hid their rotting corpses in another room in the mansion. The mage I.R. later discovered the marquis' shrine room for Maylis and shared her findings with the Duke, calling his obsession abnormal and pathetic.[8] Several days after his death, Rajih Assad discovered the body while searching for his friend Lilien.[9] After the public learned of his death, Ferdinand's nephew succeeded him as the marquis, sharing his limited findings on the investigation with Karchess Crim several months after.[5]

Ferdinand (wife)[]

Although married to the marquis, I.R. couldn't discern whether she knew of her husband's fetish for Maylis, ignored it, or simply didn't care. At some point, she, like the rest of the family and staff, was murdered after the sorceress abandoned her body as a vessel.[8]

Ferdinand (nephew)[]

Ferdinandnephew2

A marquis and the successor of his uncle, who was killed by Duke Venomania. Although reluctant to live in Mystica, he nevertheless moved into the family residence after his uncle was mysteriously murdered. Several months after his uncle had been murdered, Princess Maylis sent word that he would be visited by Count Karchess of the Kingdom of Marlon and the young marquis graciously permitted the man to enter. Questioned by Karchess, the marquis explained the mysterious circumstances surrounding the family massacre and the disappearance of Lilien Turner. Although relating Rajih's testimony that Sateriasis Venomania had committed the crimes, he discredited the peasant as having gone mad with grief as no one remembered seeing the Duke come to town at all.[5]

Glassred (parents)[]

The parents of Claster Glassred and his younger sister. Being descendants of immigrants from Elphegort, they gained the noble title of Marquises. After their son's birth, they warned him that it was beyond his position to hope for any more success in life than what they already had is Asmodean.[6]

Glassred Servant[]

A man who worked as a servant to the Glassred family. When Karchess Crim came to the Glassred Mansion hoping to meet the Marquis Glassred, the servant refused his request, informing the count that his master was not in a healthy state to meet with anyone and watched as he gave up and returned home. Sometime later, when Elluka Clockworker asked for a meeting with Claster, the servant denied an audience with the marquis and told the sorceress about Karchess's visit earlier that day.[2]

He then turned cold and began treating her badly, calling her stupid and verbally abusing her.[10] He was a member of the Held sect.

In EC 118, she and her husband found a girl abandoned by the gate of the village and the couple believed her to be a blessing, adopting her and naming her Mikulia. She initially raised her with love and care but soon began to notice she was a bit mentally behind the other children in her age and almost never worked to help on the farm. She then turned cold and began treating her badly, calling her stupid and verbally abusing her. Due to the cruel treatment she gave her daughter, Mikulia projected the image of a "wicked step-mother" on to her once she learned that she was adopted.[10] When she went to wake Mikulia after she didn’t show up at the dining table for breakfast, the woman noticed the girl's disappearance.[4] She was a member of the Held sect.

Afterward, Haru disappeared and Hakua wandered aimlessly before happening upon Duke Sateriasis Venomania in Lasaland. Brainwashed by the duke's gaze, Hakua fell in love with the man and followed him back to his mansion to join his harem.

After they entered the foyer, Hakua happened upon Haru being used as I.R.'s human medium; overjoyed, she embraced her long-lost sister despite I.R.'s attempts to break free. Sateriasis soon handed Hakua off to Lukana Octo and the tailor gave her a tour of the basement; given her pick of rooms, Hakua requested the room next to I.R.[3] As time progressed, Hakua continually tried to reunite with her sister whenever the mage stayed at the mansion.

When the disguised Karchess Crim successfully stabbed the Duke later that year, Hakua broke free of his spell and began to flee the mansion with the others.[2] Characteristic of her lineage, Hakua had white hair and red eyes. She is represented by the Vocaloid Derivative Yowane Haku.

Born in the early second century EC, Haru lived happily with her older sister until their village was destroyed by an evil mage in late EC 135. During the attack, the mage I.R. took possession of her body and her consciousness was suppressed. As I.R. attempted to kill Hakua, Haru's consciousness relapsed, compelling the mage not to kill her beloved sibling.

I.R. then left with the katana she found, keeping Haru's will suppressed as she used her as a human vessel. After I.R. came in contact with Hakua again at the Venomania Mansion in March of EC 136, Haru's consciousness began reemerging again more and more, forcing I.R. to keep a berth from Hakua. As Haru's consciousness increasingly interfered with I.R.'s actions over the ensuing decades, the evil mage staged a battle with her subordinate during the third century EC, taking his body as a new vessel and killing Haru. Characteristic of her lineage, Haru had long white hair and red eyes and was notably shorter than the harem girls.[11] She is possibly represented by the Vocaloid Derivative Akine Haru.

He chatted with Martius while sitting on his throne, Martius flattering him and his rule during the conversation. The two brothers continued to converse until the other siblings arrived.

Later, when Maylis desired to give Yufina a tour of the castle together, Janus gave his permission for the women to leave as they were superfluous to the conversation.[3] Later on, when Maylis went missing, Janus met with his other siblings to investigate into the disappearance. He was later shocked with Martius suddenly arrived, bringing Elluka Clockworker.[4] As the investigation went on, Janus and his siblings were slow to act against Sateriasis.[2] Janus, like most of his siblings, was obese.[3]

When the disguised Karchess Crim successfully stabbed the Duke later that year, Sonika broke free of his spell and began to flee the mansion with the others.[2] Tracing her lineage to Elphegort, Sonika had pale skin, green hair, and green eyes.[4] She is possibly represented by the Vocaloid SONiKA.

Tette Cetera[]

Tette Cetera[note 23] was a soldier of the Beelzenian Empire and one of Sateriasis Venomania's many victims. Born in EC 106, she later became part of I.R.'s information network in exchange for maintaining her youthful appearance through I.R.'s magic.[3] After the massacre at the Venomania mansion, Tette was assigned to deal with the aftermath. Staying in Lasaland, she frequented the Octo tailor shop and mentioned Sateriasis' memory loss to the store owner.[7] She also met with Sateriasis several times, failing to get any information out of him.

Later on, Tette found out that the visiting Queen Yufina Marlon possessed a vessel of sin and relayed the information to I.R. Being in charge of the queen's bodyguards during her stay at the Donald estate, Tette made it so that there was a gap in the forces, allowing Sateriasis to kidnap Yufina.[3]

Around early April EC 136, she found a lead claiming that the spoon vessel of sin I.R. was searching for was in an underground tomb of the Misty Mountain ruins. She then passed on the information to the sorceress. Later on, she was brainwashed by Sateriasis for her failure to provide an accurate lead for the vessel and became part of his harem.[8]

Soon after, Tette's enthrallment with Venomania started causing defects to appear in the network. When the disguised Karchess Crim successfully stabbed the Duke later that year, Tette broke free of his spell and began to flee the mansion with the others.[2] Tette was described as looking like a youth despite being in her thirties, and having a provincial accent.[3] She is possibly represented by the UTAUloid Kasane Teto.

Turner (father)[]

Tarnerfather

The father of Lilien Turner, he owned a bakery in Mystica, in Asmodean of the Beelzenian Empire. He met and married a woman, and soon, she birthed their daughter in EC 112. In EC 136, when seeing Sateriasis Venomania enter his bakery and claiming he wasn't going to buy anything, he got angry and worried for his daughter, believing that she would become lovestruck. However, when seeing who the Duke really was, he immediately apologized, ordering Lilien to guide Venomania to the Misty Mountains.[14] Several days later, the Duke wiped the baker's memory of his visit along with the memories of the townspeople. When Rajih attempted to explain that Sateriasis had kidnapped Lilien, he didn't believe him.[5]

Turner (mother)[]

The mother of Lilien Turner. She met and married a baker, birthing their daughter in EC 112. In EC 136, after Duke Venomania kidnapped Lilien, he wiped the woman's memory of his visit along with the memories of the townspeople.[5]

Unknown Abito Chief[]

The elderly chief of Abito. While chief, Ilotte Venomania would visit once a year to get people's opinions about taxes and preparing for natural disasters, bringing his son along with him. In the chief's later years, Sateriasis Venomania came to village unannounced. The chief was very confused but cheerfully welcomed the duke, pleased to learn that he'd come to start checking on the villages in his jurisdiction as the new duke. He then started telling the duke how his father would visit the village, and began rambling about every story he remember about Ilotte for more than an hour before Venomania was able to get away from him.[10] After Venomania performed the memory-wiping ritual to cover up his abduction of Mikulia, the chief forgot his encounter with the duke.[6]

Unknown Lasaland Painter[]

A painter in Lasaland's Workshop Street. The painter did mostly portraits, and a landscape once in a while. Gumina liked to watch the old man paint when she was little. Around EC 123, Cherubim posed for one of the painter's portraits, hiding his deformity under long bangs.

Years later while he was painting, Gumina stopped by at his shop while on a date with Sateriasis Venomania, asking if he was painting Workshop Street. The elderly painter responded that he was, but that he wouldn't sell it, considering how rarely he got to do a landscape painting. As Gumina explained to Venomania what they used to do as children, the painter remarked that he had heard the boy had died.

Venomania Servant[]

Venoservant

A man who worked for the Venomania family. At some point during his service, he entered an affair with his master's wife Nylpho. After Nylpho became pregnant with their child and aborted it, the servant fled the mansion.[12]

Venomania (wife)[]

VenomaniaWife3

The second wife of Duke Ilotte Venomania and the younger sister of Claster Glassred.[7] Born during the turn of the first century EC, the girl was raised as a daughter of the Glassred Family. After the death of Duke Ilotte Venomania's first wife in EC 113, he married the Glassred daughter and she later bore his child in EC 115, naming the boy Sateriasis. Years later, the couple posed for a portrait with the young Sateriasis. In December of EC 135, she was murdered by a brokenhearted Cherubim along with the rest of the household.[11] As an Elphe, she had green hair.[7]

Witnis Truth[]

Witnis Truth[note 24] was a resident of Lisa-A in Asmodean of the Beelzenian Empire, and a former servant of the Venomania family. Having been burned earlier resulting in permanent scars, he had trouble finding public work before being hired as a guard by Ilotte Venomania. Among the other servants, he had heard the rumor that Ilotte's late wife, Nylpho, had aborted a bastard child conceived via a servant, and that she had killed herself because of the facial deformity on her newest child, the boy who would one day become Cherubim. He served as said child's guard during the boy's imprisonment in the basement, taking pity on him due to his own physical deformities in the form of burn scars.

As his ex-wife Annlee Sweets was a doctor, Witnis was literate, and so was the one to teach the imprisoned boy how to read and write and gifted him a diary on October 1st. The next day, he was pleased with the boy's entry and promised to teach him more difficult words. Over the years Witnis continued to treat the boy kindly, making sure he had enough to eat and refusing to fight with him even when provoked.

On July 19th, Sateriasis Venomania, Ilotte's son with his new wife, visited the prison cell and the guard kept quiet about the subsequent interactions between the brothers, pleased as they began getting along. One occasion, Sateriasis attempted to bribe Witnis to let his brother go out for a night. The guard refused to take the bribe and allowed the deformed boy out anyway, keeping his outings a secret.

While being dismissed from his post after the boy was let out of the basement by Ilotte, he paid enough attention to the boy's affairs to learn that he had been employed as a servant in his own home under the name "Cherubim", thanks to Sateriasis' pleading. When the Venomania family was massacred, he learned Ilotte and Cherubim were among the casualties, with only Sateriasis surviving. He told Karchess Crim Cherubim's story later for a handful of gold coins.[2]

Enchanted by his gaze, she followed him back to his mansion and joined his harem of women, living in the basement with the other concubines. When the disguised Karchess Crim successfully stabbed the Duke later that year, Yuki broke free of his spell and began to flee the mansion with the others.[2] She is possibly represented by the Vocaloid Kaai Yuki.
